WELCOME
Welcome to ANUR 403: Human Bio Science 1 and I hope that you will enjoy this academic journey. This course is designed specifically to help you master the basic concepts and principles of the Human Anatomy and Physiology. ANUR 403 is offered via face-to-face study mode. This course is divided into four (4) units with a total of only six (4) organ systems (Integumentary system, Musculoskeletal system, Cardiovascular System and Respiratory System) which would be covered in the next twelve (12) weeks respectively. This course has 12 credit points which is equivalent to 120 hours’ workload of study related participation. The workload comprises of timetabled class hours, personal study which includes self-directed learning and guided activities and assessment. Note that attendance is mandatory in 90% of the timetabled hours for satisfactory completion of this course. Timetable for the class contact hours and key dates for assignment due dates will be provided by the lecturer. This course requires you to keep up with your study and use the recommended readings included with various tutorials activities and videos.
